Tour Overview

The headline says it all. Serengeti Wonder Safari is Tanzania’s short trip that gives you a full picture of wildlife safari trips in Tanzania and Africa in general. This is the perfect safari journey that suits all travelers who are coming to Tanzania on short trips, as well as those on business trips. It is also the right match for travelers who come to Tanzania for Kilimanjaro treks only but also need to experience a little bit of wildlife. However, it sounds good for all travelers—those who have visited other parts of Tanzania, for example, Zanzibar beach holidays, or have done other adventures in Tanzania—and who need some short wildlife experience before they fly back home. A short-trip package in Tanzania gives you the opportunity to visit the Ngorongoro crater floor and Serengeti endless plain parks, which are the highlights of wildlife safaris in the northern circuit.

Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater

Safari starts/ends in Arusha. Our driver will pick you from your overnight accommodation in Arusha town in the morning at 5:15 am and make your way to Ngorongoro for a full day exploring the crater floor. The area is world-renowned in its reputation and very small in its scale, so you will see other safari-goers. Don’t let that distract you from the beauty of the place or from the fact that this remains one of the only places on earth where you may see all of the Big Five at once: Lion, Leopard, Bull Elephant, African Buffalo, and Black Rhino. To maximize your time on the crater floor you will enjoy a special packed lunch at a scenic picnic spot by the hippo pool. Your journey will take you through this tremendous landscape that is constantly changing as animals move to and fro in search of pasture, water, or easy prey. In the evening drive back to the crater rim for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater to Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast in the morning, you will make your way to Serengeti national park for your full-day game drives in the endless pain of Serengeti national park. You will have a great time visiting retima hippo and the crocodile pool. You’ll continue your wildlife viewing for the rest of the day, stopping to enjoy a picnic lunch at your leisure. Full days ‘discover Serengeti’ game drives. The day for the big cats – cheetahs, leopards, and lions. In the evening drive to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Serengeti – Arusha

In the morning after breakfast, you will drive out for short SUNRISE to mid-morning game drives in the endless plain of Serengeti before you start your drives back to Arusha with game drives en-route.
